It makes perfect sense if you’re away for a week.

Wallman and myself have tusselled every day Ness, it has been fun but in danger of taking over! We are away next week and won't be playing so it's just as well.

Go for it MrsJ - if anyone can take him down, I'm sure you can chick him. :)

Yup, I'm getting slaughtered - 78-3, I believe. It didn't help that I put my home zone near Sheffield, where I only managed just over a mile to see if my achilles still hurts (it does) and where I'm now 80-odd miles away from for the rest of the week. I could move my square to get some consolation points over the weekend, but then next week would be more difficult. I think I just need to find my level (I reckon by Christmas I might be at a ranking where I'm competitive) and then start thinking about this.

Ness - my week has been quiet until tonight. Couple of mundane commutes plus a run Monday. Tues & Weds I was in & around Edale so no points.

Just hoovered up a chunk of the grid on my ride home from a late shift tho :P

Also in the 'easing back' camp (despite above) as the effort for some weeks so far was too much!

I think that’s the nice thing about this game though. You can choose to be competitive one week or take a back seat another.

Morning :-)

I agree Meglet, last week I was running a lot, for me, & peddling around to early lanes at the pool, & short runs, it was fun trying to use different squares, & fight back, think it was the first time I played someone who played the game rather than belonged to it.

This week should be easy for njo, I was away til yesterday & running away from home Sunday. Its fun when your opponent lives, by Australian distances, close to your children/grandchildren. They’re often in Brissie, 🏃‍♀️ or playing ⚽️ . Hope I’m remembering correct person/place. Haha I am & he’ll also be busy elsewhere on Sunday - have a grand day swimming at Noosa njosmith - luck to you & plant lots of fetchpoint 💐 in the sea :-)
