I think it goes from the minute you move it (i.e.if you upload data one minute later, the data hits your *new* grid) and can then be changed any time on the same day the following week.

So, for example, you could run your parkrun in location A on a Saturday, then change to location B for the week on a Saturday afternoon, then change back to location A the following Saturday morning in time to get your same parkrun recognised again.

Open to disagreement, but I think that works ...

ok, thanks chaps. makes sense. Holibobs next week but only till Thursday so was toying with idea of changing it now and taking the loss only to get more points next week. hmmm, not sure.

Essentially if you time it right you can get 6 days (plus a few minutes) in one location or eight days (less a few minutes) in one location.

(And I'm not even going near the "delay your upload" strategy because that's getting much too much like a game of chess!)

WS: yes, a lot of my success in this game is just due to having access to all 225 squares in the grid, most of them easily accessible by bike
