57.5 Degrees of Pain

I can only actually get to 130 of my squares so it always makes playing someone who lives in an area like the above quite challenging to say the least. |

I fear that I don't have enough dedication to the cause to find somewhere to stay and take the bike in order to get that badge...yet...

I did think it's technically possible to do a treble Gridmaster as my London route is only 23 miles. The short out & backs would be murder on a bike, but potentially doable. #The route is public, but I managed to lose the grid centre location to make it all work fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1867218 Am in the process of working out where the coords should be, and will move grid Monday morning to test the route works. Will share with y'all in case anyone wants a London Tri. |

I could do an efficient route at my in-laws in the US as the town next door had a near perfect north/south grid. But it was impossible to avoid a corner straying into 'No trespassing' territory, and I didn't want to get shot! Did 220 squares there and the last 5 back in the UK once to earn the Gridmaster badge. |

I also got hammered in 1x1 the week I did Gridmaster in one run. After 35 miles on a Monday I had no more desire to plod the same streets! Had to be a Monday (and hope my opponent didn't post anything) to get a screenshot of the pristine red 1x1 board. |

I could never get gridmaster in one go as I need to do a grid move to get to the inaccessible squares in the sea!

135 accessible squares, with the gridmaster shown (first half shown in situ but duplicated for the second half): |

I had 78 squares of sea back in Lee in Solent, and I'm not a swimmer Which was why I looked at London for a potential Gridmaster. |

Most of my inaccessible squares are in the sea but also the docks is an inaccessible area too!
