I'm another one who accidentally stumbled into the top 8 for the first time.
I'm still struggling with long covid so can't do anything that could legitimately be described as "running", so for the last few weeks, I've been relying mostly on cycling, walking with the odd run/walk (which have been far more walk than run).
...and then this afternoon, I popped into Asda for 10 minutes, and came out to find somebody had cut the brake lines on my bike, so no more cycling for me for the foreseeable future. Which leaves me very conflicted - this will almost certainly be my only chance to get into the final 4, but if I do get in, I'm not going to be able to offer any kind of competition.

That's awful Andy, was it instantly apparent or could you have cycled off?

Fortunately, I noticed when I was reattaching my bike computer, but I could quite easily have ridden away with it like that which could have turned out very badly.

That is absolutely awful Andy, some people are so evil - what kind of mind must they have. Just glad you noticed it before you set off.
If you lived closer you could have my old bike

AndyS, that’s horrific, & really depressing  I do nearly all our shopping by bike, it’s never occurred to me to check but will do now.
Thank you for the match, Gravic - I can’t run but forgot to take a break, the game made me walk & swim more which is good

That's awful Andy - I hope they get whoever has done it, but I'm probably being over-optimistic
Just sneaked into the last 4 of multimatch for the first time - walked the dog on a targetted route to pick up 4 squares to get in by the skin of my teeth. Suspect I'm out of my depth now, so it will be a miracle if I get many squares this week
