That was a mega-close game! If you add up our runs and walks, we are almost identical; that sneaky bike to work "took the cake" at the 11th hour (though I would have got 2 cake squares walking to work if I hadn't biked).
Seriously tough game! Now just one point between Dave and me in the rankings.

I started the week thinking I had a decent chance of going through if I owned 15 squares. That was correct on this occasion because Bazoaxe is through with 14.
I also guessed that targeting 25 squares from day one would give me a fair chance of owning 15. There were times during the week when that was looking quite unlikely, but as the game ends, I own all 25 of the ones I targeted.
Thank you to everyone who has given up squares for me. There are at 11:40 30 squares with 40 points on them. There's not much cake, but I do think it would be good if drawn squares had their points divided among the top scorers.
Congratulations to everyone else who's got through, particularly if you managed with even less actual training than me. And thanks for the excitement.
I'll be studying how the final rounds go until spring when I may join the game again.
