I’m new to this game (registered ages ago, but ‘playing’ it as of this week) and taking an interest in what is happening with mole-thing and Boycie
Mole thing has done 5 activities in the last 2 days (long ones) where Boycie has done 13 so far today and 18 yesterday (often very short).
Is there an advantage is splitting up actives into smaller chucks (you double dip in a square in my view) and is there any etiquette in this?
Feel awkward in asking, but for me to understand what is the “done thing” as I play this game going forward.
Thanks MAG

MAG, if you run twice through the same square in the same day, it still only counts once so it doesn't much matter.
Also, there are cases when one activity is broken up for training purposes (e.g., warm up, set, warm down; or intervals; or run to shops, do errand, run back (possibly another route)).

I’m not sure I would generalise from the madness of the multiplayer final to normal gameplay

This has final been just phenomenal to watch, amazing efforts from both mole-thing and Boycie! Well done also to the new gridmasters and Ocho's! I can't keep up with the posts on this forum, let alone the amazing achievements of so many of the players!!!!

MAG - there's no "right" approach to logging one or multiple activities. A lot depends on how seriously you are playing and what your grid is like geographically.
A word of warning: don't feel that you have to use this multiplayer final as your exemplar until you've played a few 1v1 matches! Lower and mid-table games often involve only one activity per player per day - or fewer than that!

Thanks for the feedback. Just trying to learn. I will never hit the top of the top but want to move on up. There is no way I would have the time, and I do a lot of my long hill work outside of my square (12.8 miles of it on Sunday). Good to know 2 runs in the same square only counts as one, I guess a run and a walk still only counts as one?
I remember years (6-8 years) ago on Conquercise someone pulling me up on small activities, but I was hill sprint training and that was a outcome I had peeved someone off.
Thanks again...

Utter madness for the final! Chapeau to both of you
And well done to all the new Ochos, Gridmasters and other badge winners
Think I've snuck a win this week. Ocho is on hold while I wait for a nasty mosquito bite on my ankle to calm down. Hopefully some time this week and then I can move my grid back to a better location.

Well done Mole-thing and Boycie - cracking final - thought the mileages were high in the later rounds of the previous WSW - but you 2 have taken it to another level.

I reckon mole-thing is saving up one big activity to upload nearer to noon. I reckon Boycie will be expecting that and will have something else to upload too ...
