I can get to about 165 without moving it - I went 15 weeks without moving it. That is plenty enough for a top 8 overall and final 4 of the multiplayer... (*humblebragWarning*)

TBR - I can get to about 118 without moving it. As long as you control 113 squares you'll win a 1-1. Obviously no good for badges like the grid master, but fine for most opponents at 'our end of the table'. It will also be enough for most rounds of the multiplayer. You might want to move your grid when you get to last 8 etc depending on how things go - but this is not a permanent change. Start the week in your current position, do loads of running, walking and cycling in the squares you can reach, than at about the half way point move your grid a bit, so that the same routes now win you new squares. Obviously you won't be able to defend squares from the first half of the week which is why you need to do multiple activities every day. You can only move once a week. For the last few rounds of multiplayer I used to have my house on the western edge of my grid for half the time and only run east, and then move the grid so my house was on the eastern edge and only run west.

Finally got downloaded and have now visited 122 squares. I only own 97 of them, I may be tempted to remedy that before Monday.

Great tips VJ. So I can move my grid in the middle of a game and it comes into effect immediately?

Yes. The points are applied based on the grid position when you upload the run rather than when the run occurred

I shall pick up that square tomorrow. Today's planned route did go through it but the paths on the ground don't quite match those on the map.
