PK, ninja corners are an inevitable annoyance of WSW.

oops, apologies to Santis.
But Roberton still needs to get down here and explain himself. His partner might have forgiven him but I haven't.

I ninja cornered the same squares two days in a row. It is a footpath between a quarry and a freshly planted field. The second time in tried to stay as close as possible to the quarry but ended up having to โsocial distanceโ around some walkers and missed it again. Got it the next day though
It is part of the game. Sometimes you get squares you had no right to get. It evens itself out over time

None of the three were quite as tight as that. Two of the three are easily reachable again, so no probs. The third, a bit more difficult, but I was planning to move the grid later in the week anyway, so i'll just take that into account.

I guess ninja squares happen a lot more often cycling as you are travelling much faster so leaving fewer gps โdotsโ per square

Please don't blame Santis, he's innocent in all this ๐
My partner is very forgiving but it gets better. Because the derailleur had got jammed in the spokes of the rear wheel, I couldn't even push it home so she had to come and rescue me ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
In my defence, the bike is very old and knackered.

Well, it is now anyway.

and a halo for Mrs Roberton.
I guess you both need new bikes now? Oh, what a shame.

Having done 60 miles yesterday, Macca is taking it easy today - just the 20 miles so far

@Roberton: hate it when the Rear Derailleur brakes; especially when its the expensive one. I've got through 3 on my Winter / Commuter Hack - 1st time was the expensive fully sheared type; 2nd & 3rd times the bracket actually did it's job properly and snapped 1st.
I had to call Boss out the 1st time, i was in middle of nowhere & 30 miles away from home...

If the pandemic ever ends I won't be using a bike again. It's been great while WFH every day and the roads being empty.
Sure, useful for that extra point in WSW but I'm hoping to not have a use for one again!
Meanwhile... in WSW multiplayer I seem to have found my level at last. 7th out of 8. And 8th is stubiedoo who has explored all of 4 squares to far.
