It's hilarious in Gaidhlig when a word has been made up (just phonetically spelled version of the English word) in news items etc. Taxi - tacsaidh (prononounced… taxi!) Television - telebhisean (pronounced... television!) Helicopter - heileacoptair (pronounced... well, you get the picture!) (Gaidhlig doesn't have x, v and has a lot of spare h's, and vowels!) G
