WS - you just moved me up a position in the ranking by taking ownership of a square and knocking someone down who only owned that one square. If you carry on like that I am in with a chance of getting through! I'm liking your work

Look out for the red B symbol too. A few of those will have cropped up by Monday.

WS - yeah, I know [ sigh ]. Don't want to be a sore loser, but today I am feeling like a proper sore loser. Going to go for a walk to get my bug and forget about WSW for now, then steel myself for going to work and looking cheery behind a bar for seven hours
peace and love, everyone

I've done a lunchtime square-grabbing run and I'm now ahead of Greppers 82-14. I think I *may* have done enough.

Ooh, I own a square! First time ever. Just as well, as my 114 prob won't be enough. However, chance of holding it with no more running in grid this week. Boo. G

HappyG, that's a shame, 1 square would get you through if the stats previously are right. I might have 14 now, but not so sure I will get out much more until Monday, so with 71 covered I think I am in a bit of a weak position. I'll probably have to go out Monday early, then be behind from lunchtime onwards.....
Elsie Too, get out there, walking might do it.

I selected "follow" for half a dozen WSW fellow players earlier in the week as a result of an Advent Calendar promotion. I haven't unfollowed you/them yet and it has been interesting to see the training being logged. I reckon there have been more pieces of training being uploaded of less than 1 mile and/or less than 10 minutes than longer sessions/runs.
I don't know if you're all jumping into cars to get to a particular square, running 0.05 miles, jumping back in the car and repeating this, or whether you're just taking the air on your own front doorsteps, but it shows that there are lots of ways to tackle this multiplayer beast.

I've mainly been substituting walking for bus rides, and I'm running more this month anyway than I usually do (taking part in Run Up To Christmas).

Just going to log my walk to work today, no running - a combination of feeling bleeurgh and lots of work piling up.
Sam, I hope your 100-mile race goes well this weekend. Sorry that it will be off grid! I'm hoping to get a few miles in tomorrow if I can get out before they close the footpath across the rifle range.

Thanks VJ. Just got to the race hq and claimed a corner to sleep in, ready for the 4am start.
I'm waving the white flag for wsw, you won't have to do much to overtake me, and especially the multiplayer is done.
