Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I usually get through the first two weeks without owning a square, but I do generally cover a lot of squares.

From memory, 90-100 explored is enough - but it varies.

Helloooo 👋, 57.5 Degrees of Pain,

I’ve had a couple of weeks off WSW because of my marathon. Still only light training for me at the moment I think so you should have an easy match.😁

I did well over 100 in the first 2 rounds last time and I don't think I owned any. It's possibly once you get down to the last 32 that ownership comes into play.

OK, I was wrong. I only have the 64th person recorded for the first multiplayer game (15th July), not the second (2nd Sep). In the first game, the 64th person covered 79 squares and owned 0.

I have a snapshot from about 4 minutes before the cut-off in the second multiplayer (five people taking a break for the next week so 69 to make it in):

# Name Explored Owned

64 Wabo 80 0
65 Little Nemo 80 0
66 Ungirt Runner 79 0
67 iaincr 77 0
68 The Running Andy 75 0
69 Smugbloke 72 0
70 Lea 72 0

In the first multiplayer, DS is correct about 64th place. However one person in the top 64 was taking a break, so to make it into the next round you'd need 76 explored (67th place). Places 65 and 66 were taking breaks (the B):

64 Ungirt Runner 79 0
65 FenlandRunner B 78 0
66 Drell B 77 0
67 Foxy 76 0

Hi Ness, I should be in grid a few times this week to give you a game. And targeting 80+ squares for the multiplayer!
