Corrah, yeah, that really gets me too, but remarkably rare on Guardian Soulmates. If I did decide to try the dating agency/site again, I would go back to there, the quality of men is rather high, once you have waded through all the pretentiousness that comes with it...
Meg, I saw that on FB and I am sorry your skiing had to be cancelled... My whole planned weekend was cancelled too: was going to spend Saturday with one of my best friends and old race partner and his dog, walking, talking, eating, and he was going to go with me to pick up my stuff... but snow stopped play. The theater on Friday didn't happen, neither did the MTB orienteering and lunch on Sunday. I felt a bit lonely and went a bit stir crazy, but did enjoy an outing to Waitrose Saturday, when I friend picked me up in his landrover, so at least I had chocolate
Thing is, last time I was snowed in for several days was three months ago, with L... So it all felt a little raw As he is not getting anything out of the direct lines of communication with me, he has resorted to a flurry of Farcebook posts. He NEVER posts on Farcebook... He cannot see mine any more, so for all he knows, I am gone... or at least not on line. He accused me of using farcebook a lot, to which I could point out that the last post I made at that time was over a week ago... I think he lurks though...

Corrah, I think I actually had a statement in my profile along the lines of "own hair and teeth essential, as are profile picture(s) - and the word "hi" does not constitute a message".
It's just laziness from people who haven't bothered to read your profile and engage with you.

Thanks Hann. Just feeling very sorry for myself. Last year’s ski trip was what pulled me out of the breakup hole so I was looking forward to it very much. Add to that getting a cold, so running/exercise is out, cycling isn’t possible inthe snow anyway, workmen being in the house so it's all a bit chaotic and then yesterday XH was being an arse and taking liberties as he knew I was home.
All my skiing pals had a weekend with their families and I was just lonely.

Oh Meg, sending hugs. xx Duchess - I nearly spat out my tea there! I'm very tempted to use that text! Hanneke - Thinking of you. xx
We'll see how long I manage to last on there, but I think at this rate, I'll be lucky to last out the week.

Morning all. PoF does work. I now have a one year old pooping machine. Who'd have thought it - especially those who have actually met me...
Anyways, keep those (*)(*) up and at it!

Hello
Maybe I should try POF? I am with Duchess, I am quite bold in my profile, especially after I attracted that berixiteering racist bigot last summer. I make it very clear what I do and don't find acceptable

I know a few people who found their partner through Guardian Soulmates, maybe I should have another look there... and maybe NT man has shaped up his act these last 4 months?

I'm kind of enjoying being a sarcastic bitch at the moment. However, I think I will get bored quickly. Not sure I have time for this nonsense anyway. Duchess, I will fill you in on Saturday if there has been any interesting progress.

HowFar?
Those Guardian profiles that you posted on here were all quite overwhelming, Hann. I imagine they are tricky things to fill out, but they all seemed very high brow. (Although that probably says more about me than the potential suitors)
