I have unhidden my profile, and liked a couple of guys... then I got fedup already and have logged out. If I want to message them, I need to subscribe. I will wait until they offer me 40% off again!

Hello everyone and welcome back Teebs. Always room for an ex-shelfer, especially one so comfortable with his own sexuality. ;)

I'm talking to a chap on Tinder. There's a chance he might be a Fetchie so I'd better be careful what I say. Musician - check; off-road runner - check, non-Brexit - check, big nose - check (I like big noses), baldie - check (ditto), lives close to some good running areas - check, climbs - check etc.

Right - I'm on Soulmates with my free log in. Straight away there's a face on the front page I recognise. Friend of NPD man and was his lodger for a while. Also knows my friend Sara as he grew up near her.

I’m watching Seven Year Switch on channel 4. It’s like a cross between Wife Swap and Married at First Sight. All four couples are dysfunctional and really shouldn’t stay together

(The experiment is to swap couples to help them decide if they stay together or split)

Meglet isn't that just a throw back to car keys in a dish?

I only met the chap once at a party. He was with a new partner he met on Soulmates. Quite a manic man. She went back to her husband.

Meg, that sounds a recipe for disaster, does it make good TV?

I have just watched a film on iPlayer and it has left me slightly uneasy... About a semi-apocalyptic power cut in the near future... Two daughters and a father live in the woods, quite remote and the story develops around the relationship between the two daughters. Lots of dramatic things happen, on a fairly minimalist scale... It has made me feel vulnerable :(

The programme interviewed the couples first. One of the men was a complete chauvinist who expected his wife to do everything. One had called off his wedding and moved out, and fancied trying the single life, yet kicked off big time when he found out there was only one bed in each villa because he didn’t want his wife sharing. I think they all had young kids.
