I agree FWIW. Would serve no purpose to tell him how you feel
I bet even writing that down for us was quite cathartic though x

Maz, yes, writing that down was cathartic, and enough. The less of a response/reaction he has from me the better! Thanks guys xxx

Eddie, you are right, so tomorrow evening, when I have a better idea of what the snow is doing, I shall send him that last paragraph... so he is prepared that I will be coming to pick up my stuff at the earliest opportunity, so he can take the table apart and put it ready downstairs, together with the stack of chairs, then all that needs carrying down when I arrive is the cooker. Contact should be very brief, and as my friend is there to help, I intend to ignore him completely. I have blocked him on Farcebook now, as he has been posting his little heart out this afternoon and liking everything of mine from the last week. I haven't unfriended him, just made sure he can now only see what is public and cannot interact with me any more.

Hann - at least you get dates and you work at making things good. I know you've met a few crazy people, but you give things a good go and it sounds like you and the chaps have fund along the way.
I think Valley Man was always going to have issues. It's a bit like my NPD man. He wants to be happy but he can't until he gets help. He won't get help, because there's nothing wrong in his mind. I don't know what's to be done with these sort of people ... Sad.

As little contact as possible sounds like the right approach, Hann. I'm glad you have a friend going with you.

Hann!!!!! Goodness me! If something seems too good to be true it's probably because it is. I only hope you get your stuff back. Personality disorder? What a horrible thing to happen to you Hann I am so very sorry. To continue the Dave theme I have dated 2 (married last one) and both were nutters.... I do however know several other totally nice and normal Daves so best not judge too harshly 😃

RS, exactly that! If they don't see something is wrong, in VN/L's case through projecting their own issues onto others, they cannot be helped...
I am about to mail him that I will be picking my stuff up, just about to check with my friend. Roads are clear again and he is off work for three weeks, he had to take up outstanding annual leave, so no excuses of not being there etc etc... early tomorrow evening is the plan, he is ALWAYS home then...

I have gone and done it! Created a profile on plenty of fish last night, encouraged by my sister. What makes people think "Hi" or "Hey" would be enough to get a response? Might use the opportunity to be a sarcastic bitch

That winds me up and I generally don’t reply. Either they’re playing a numbers game by messaging the same to many people, or they’re not bothering to write a message they won’t get a reply, or more likely, they are quite thick. As I found out when I encouraged someone to write me a proper message and ask a question, and he replied ‘oh yeah, sorry. So anyway, how are you?’

I’ve had a really shit weekend (skiing flights cancelled, so home alone with nothing to do and nobody to contact) and really felt very single for the first time in a while. I can’t be bothered with the hassle of the dating site so the profile remains hidden, but someone has sent me a nice message so I’ve replied and will see if it leads anywhere.
