*Waves to newbies* - Hi, I'm an escapee from the Running Bug, which also went down the pan at the end of last year (not that it was very far up the pan to begin with - great folks on a basic site).
In support of Fetch's recent declaration of independence, I chose to take the £5 a month I would spend on RW and use it to contribute to this site instead; money well spent on a far superior product!

Good man Simon. It's voluntary. But it only needs 1/8th (my estimate, not related to Fetch in any way - just a calculation of cake  divided by mouths  ) of us to volunteer to give Fetch the wherewithal to sustain this rather wonderful little corner of the online world!

RW mag was great when I started out but there's only so much you can write about running I guess so after a while I dropped it. The forum was great for a while too but struggled with spam and some unhelpful posters.
Here's another dumb newbie question: is there a help or guide section to this site? I see references to subscription but nowhere obvious to learn more. I found the Garmin upload idiot's guide by accident.
