Well done JB. I'm really lucky as mine is close, convenient and easy to book (benefits of working in metropolitan area). :-) G

Sushi.
That is interesting.

In 19 yrs on neo I've never seen anything but Oneg given.

Just discussing it with a colleague. We're thinking that maybe they cross match more on a chdrens wards so could be used for babies there.

But you all can aimlike 😄G that you save 8-10 babies lives each time.

Following my first donation, my blood type confirmed as O+.

Just in the process of booking again for April.

I've always found that O+ suits me fine, never felt the need to seek a change.

Finally given blood after a few years break although had to wait an hour after my appointment time given internet issues (one of the downsides of living in N Wales!?). At least I know my blood group again (B negative). Unable to book next appointment there given internet issue

Sigh
I've been notified that the blood I donated last Monday "has now been issued to Yeovil District Hospital". 147 miles from where I donated it.

That would be a lot of Conquercise zones :-)

How do you know where your blood has been issued to?
