Aye, the last few years. NHS Scotland texted me to make an appointment. I’m 58, 59 next month. You’re meant to get it on yer birth month, so it’s slightly early.

It helps staying in a small village with a surgery 200 metres away.

Occasionally searching the interweb for people I used to know, and this time found someone who's life looks good!
I'm happy for them - even more so because I'd thought of them when reading crap news about someone else.

[It also reached North Yorkshire (but as I said, apparently only once!) Wellman might just be branding? Basically an age related checkup/assessment around cardio, cholesterol, weight/fat etc.. From age 50 plus.]

An article in the Telegraph yesterday on how to avoid inheritance tax made me chuckle - it suggests you can divorce your current wife, marry your mother in law, wait until she dies and then remarry your wife again.

I’ve just remembered meeting a couple yesterday with a four day old baby girl. The baby was tiny but wonderful and parents so proud I nearly cried 💕
