Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Popping into my favourite restaurant (Thai), getting a hug from Chorg the owner and meeting his new and lovely waitress.

Oh and the bloody amazing food.

Checking in on DS18 and finding him snuggled under a Bob the Builder duvet set.

(He'd had to change it last night and it was the only one he could find.)

My grandson (7yr) is poorly and will be off school today. He wanted to send us a video of him being sick! Mercifully mum didn’t think that it would be a nice idea. 😮‍💨

For about ten minutes this morning there was a wood mouse on our lawn, eating with the sparrows.

Two things.
We're going to see ABBA Voyage on Sunday and I wanted to wear something a bit sparkly but not OTT as we're going on to dinner afterwards. I have a suitable top and trousers but the weather being what it is, needed a jacket to complete my 'ensemble'.
Scrolling through the Sainsbury's/Tu clothing I spotted a subtly sparkly blazer jacket in their sale, which would be perfect. Reduced to £12 it was a bargain - even more so when it came to paying for it and it had been reduced even further, to £8.40!

Then I remembered that I had a black trouser suit from my Tax Inspector days (which ended in 1988!) A quick rummage in the spare room wardrobe and I now have the choice of two jackets to wear - I'm so thrilled the work jacket still fits, and it proves the point about fashion being cyclical - the two jackets are identical in style and I now have a choice! :-)

I need to go 'shopping' in my wardrobe more often!
