He starts telling me how I need to train high mileage and pulls up an analysis he’d made of a pro runner’s training on his phone. The pro runner was me. It was my training. Didn’t have the heart to tell him.

Finally found a great hoody in there and decided that I'd put an extra £10 towards its £30 cost. Got to the till and for some inexplicable reason the lady said that it appeared to be marked down to £6 and did I still want it! Result but still got to remember the gift voucher for £14 whenever I go into town.
