5Live's endless Olympic previews/ reviews.
I'll go back to listening when they have actually sport to cover.

Ally I was literally going to say that.

For me itโ€™s people who offer training advice with no clue whatsoever either non runners or wannabe coaches.

I literally hate that, in a literal sense.

Packets of dried food that don't suggest a dry portion size. This for instance tells you to make the useful amount of 2.5 portions.

I could have been caught out that way, @ChrisHB. When I started running, and before everything was labelled with nutritional information, I read that a portion of pasta was 6oz and 200 calories. So I'd boil 6oz of dried pasta with a load of broccoli and a couple of sliced carrots (vegetables, zero calories) and add most of a jar of pesto (maybe 100 calories, there's oil on top).

I'd like to say, "That's why I didn't lose any weight," but in that first season of running the weight fell off me.

[I'd argue specifying portion size is more the job of a recipe. These instructions give you a guide which is easy to adjust for differing amounts.]

[Hopefully somewhere else on the pack it gives suggested portion size as I often cook without a recipe]

It tells you how much a cooked portion weighs.

@@Diogenes Surely you often cook without a recipe?
