Only a minor disaster because another option came along a few minutes after the cancellation was announced. It's a slower route than the original, but will still be a lot quicker than no train at all. I should still have two hours to get through security and to my gate once I get there, and the ridiculous queue problems are supposed to be over now.

What makes this annoying I had the afternoon off yesterday and walked past the branch! Just need to make sure I don't spend too long in the cafe after parkrun another week so can pop in then.
