What minor disaster has befallen you today?

The tree surgeons have been here today, seeing to our poplars and twisted willows. The clue is in the type of tree - that area of the garden is boggy at the best of times. After several men in heavy boots have been working there all day, my 'no-mow May' area could be mistaken for the Somme Not their fault, they've done a great job and are very tidy workers. Just a shame the heavy rain came when it did. It'll be interesting to see if my bee orchids and snake's head fritillaries will survive.
