Remembered that I forgot to go online and pay for parking after visiting Carsington Water earlier in the week (anpr with option to pay online up to 14 hours later).
Now awaiting the fine

Found out (yesterday, but it's aan ongoing minor disaster) that my friend, and former Latin teacher, who was terminally ill actually died on the 9th.
I guess because I always spoke to him directly, and mostly via instant messaging things, his family didn't have any contact details for me. Instead I found out quite a roundabout way, and over two weeks later.
I knew he was going, and was at peace with it, and we'd said all the lovely things we wanted to to each other, so I'm counting this as a disaster mostly because it means an increased risk of me not being able to het to his funeral. Only a minor disaster, though, as I'm in the loop now, and don't think I've missed it yet.

I forgot to take shopping bags out with me today. It's only a minor disaster because the only thing we really needed was a bottle of milk.

I cycled to parkrun because I didn't think it would rain until late morning. I was wrong, and had to ride through a really heavy shower which started when I was half way home. By the time I got home the sun was out again.
I should have run faster and cycled faster, then I'd have stayed dry.

Made rye bread in the breadmaker with the ordinary paddle, not the rye one. It turned out better.

I put a load of washing on but forgot to take off the t-shirt and shorts I was wearing and put them in. But it's only a minor disaster, they're not all that dirty anyway.
