Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What minor disaster has befallen you today?

I think different needle is indeed the problem, v'rap. I used my super cute tiny sock circ for the second one, which turns out to be a bit bigger than the DPNs I'd used for the first. D'oh.

Have ordered new, even tinier, sock circs so will frog and reknit once they arrive. I've only got about five other WIPs to be getting on with in the meantime...

I didn't check my hoody pocket and left my apple headphones in it. Hoody went in the washing machine and so another set of headphones ruined. School boy error, it's the 3rd set in 12 months. What a fool.

Spilt tea all over my desk whilst I had two phones and three computers open and I was struggling to get web-ex or zoom to open whilst I had 8 people all emailing and texting to say they couldn't connect to the meeting :)

My garmin lost gps lock, giving me some weirdly slow and fast miles, but more importantly lopping off some conquercise zones.

That’s definitely not minor, MrsJ :-(

I accidentally peeled the potatoes so we’re having oven chips instead of jacket wedges.
