Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

In the last week we have had 3 little rabbits, a mouse, 2 robins And a shrew. Being an animal lover I feel awful but not sure how I can stop our cat Ron being so efficient. Is it the time of year??

You can't do much about it. I did fit my cats with a bell which helped a bit, but they learn to move without tinkling!

I think my cat catches a lot more than he brings in, he gets shut out for a few hours if he catches!

My cat used to either pull the bell off her collar or remove her collar.

Our cat was brining in birds everyday (the feathered variety). We've put a bell on her collar and she does bring in less.

She's lost her collar a few times but never tried to pull the bell off. I didn't know cats were intelligent enough to do that.

Our cat used to lose collars, but we had a name on so sometimes got them back from a neighbour! Good thing too, we had catflap magnets which were fairly expensive to replace!

I remember Minnie nearly hanging herself trying to remove her collar. In the end I gave up with collars and had her micro chipped. She was well known where I live and didn't ever travel far from home.

I reckon you'll see that bunny again! I swear my cat used to keep bringing me the same bunny back. I recognised the marks where the bunny had been slightly chewed!! :-o
