[They're putting out a lot of adverts right now to lobby for a good deal for British fishers. Maybe they should have concentrated their efforts a few years ago on encouraging their employees not to vote them out of business?]

Where the name Aston Villa comes from.
There was an area recorded in the Doomsday book called Eastone, meaning East Hill that pronunciation eventually changed to Aston. Later, there was a significant Georgian house built in the area that leant its name, briefly, to the area, Aston Villa.
In 1874 the cricket team of a chapel in the area, the Aston Villa Wesleyan Chapel, decided to maintain their fitness over the winter months by forming a football team.
