Wearing boxer shorts inside out accidentally feels much the same as wearing them the correct way around. But the buttons look odd.

*important note - I was not being a skank and getting a second wear out of them*

I discovered the meaning of the word "Appurtenances"

Appurtenances is a term for what belongs to and goes with something else, with the appurtenance being less significant than what it belongs to. The word ultimately derives from Latin appertinere, "to appertain".

In a legal context, an appurtenance could for instance refer to a back-yard that goes with the adjoining house. The idea being expressed is that the back-yard "belongs" to the house, which is the more significant of the two

On this day in 1747 Dr James Lind carried out the first randomised trial looking at causes of scurvy in sailors whilst serving on HMS Salisbury, and discovered that citrus fruits will cure scurvy.

Happy international clinical trials day everybody ;)

That the logo of the Longines watch company is a winged hourglass and is the oldest watch company logo.
