You are quite correct, Glenn. Therefore my fact is an unfact. Although it it true for most birds, some waterfowl, like ducks; emus, chickens and flamingoes have penises. As you point out, they are generally rather different from the run of the mill mammalian versions. I'll leave people to look up the details.
