I'd assumed it would be on the 70th anniversary of the accession

LazyDaisy Jun 2022 9:18am, 2 Jun 2022 35,953 posts	0 LazyDaisy What I find a bit puzzling is that the Coronation Day in June 1952 was wet, the Golden Jubilee day in 2012 was wet (who could forget those two oldies watching a boring parade of boats on the Thames in the pouring rain?) but they arbitrarily chose the same few days for this celebration. The forecast for Sunday? Heavy rain.
