If the diagrams have lists of ‘what if’ conditional moves, then they could remind us nicely of predicted sequences

But you'd have to copy them across each time and not sure that's any better than copying across the text. If something gets complicated and needs a diagram then it makes sense but not sure we've reached that stage in any game.

Something has changed in either my phone or the chess app as the vote chess no longer loads fully - lots of overlapping web build - most difficult.

I'm the same Boffin, it's been broken in the app for me for a while. Instead I've been using the Web interface through the links on this page (when I remember to play).

Vote chess went shit for me a while ago. On an iphone that is. Fine on web pages where it’s easier to navigate anyway, so I’ll stick to that.

I've never used in on the app. I think it just tries to load web in the app anyway which is probably why it's broken. They could make their app so much better.
