No prizes for guessing this is all new to me!... How do I actually vote? I have noticed when scrolling the page, if I touch the board the pieces become live - I would guess I vote by moving the piece then there will be a button somewhere to submit the move as a vote?

That is correct!
Don't worry, it took me a while to catch up with the way it worked

The phone app suddenly went a bit crap with formatting - I’m sure it was better when we started a while back. Anyway please everyone pile in with comments. Though it’s inevitably a bit more quiet when we are just waiting for them to move.

How are people finding vote chess? Hopefully people are learning even if they aren't commenting. I certainly have. If something doesn't make sense or you have a different idea always worth saying something. Good to bounce ideas around.
We're thinking of having a vote chess match limited to sub 1100 and would try and arrange for the opposition to match. Would people be interested?
I'm enjoying 'listening in' to the discussions without feeling the need to add anything as yet, though it's all been fairly straight-forward so far. The reasoning behind the suggestions has been clearly explained, I think.

Yay, well I have joined them..... remains to be seen if that was a move to mutual benefit 🙄🤣 Going back to Jules' comment - how do you see earlier discussion some moves back when strategy and reasoning may have been discussed?

I've just tried looking on my phone, it's horribly muddled and difficult to make out as the previous screen seems to overlay, but going to archive and tapping on the relevant move looks to be the method.

The chess house cafe vc leader recommends that we create ‘what if’ diagrams using the chessboard icon (as we’ve done before), but we copy them from previous to current move for refreshing our memories.

Answered my own question; select a move and the discussion for that move is there - agree Jules, it is a long-winded process... especially if you are searching for some prior pearl of wisdom although you may not recall when it was said... 🙄
