Fourth time lucky That does slightly soften the blow of a crocked ankle which is probably going to stop me running Abingdon this year (so long as it's healed by April...)

Well commiserations to the rejectees, better luck next time, or are you looking at another spring marathon?
So of those of us who got in, who is planning to run for a charity?
I'm not really into the raising money thing, but reckon I might sign up as I get the feeling its kind of expected for London?
When I did FLM back in 2007, I raised over £700 for Orchid Cancer Appeal.

I am running this year for the same charity that I ran for last year, raising £2,300. A small local charit called P.A.R.C. Essex. They work with disabled children and their families and are bloody fantastic. They have certainly help keep me sane(ish) over the last three years whilst my wife and been in an out of hospital (nearling dying twice and on another occasion nearly ending up paralysed from the neck downwards).

I am going to run for rainbows childrens and young peoples hospice - I did a placement with them so have seen first hand the fab work they do. I have my own place but I figured if I could make some money for them then why not!
