Post arrived.
No magazine though!
Am sure that must mean I'm a reject.

Pootle
I thought my post hadn't arrived until I popped into my handy village sorting office and my postie said he had put a card through the door because I had a magazine and a "t-shirt" that he couldn't get through the letter box (I know then I was a reject ).
When I got home I checked inside the letterbox and the flamin' card was wedged between the two flaps (ooo err misses!).
Moral of the story - check the inside bit of your letterbox because your postie might be as naff as mine!

Ballot says no.
Charity says yes.
Got confirmation this afternoon that I have my charity place (same charity that I ran for last year).
Am happy man.

IMHO VLM places are like buses. I have entered the ballot for the last few years ( not sure how many, 4 or 5) without success. Yesterday I got my first acceptance and today I got.... my second. I now have two entries and two different running numbers for 2011

simpleeeee
can anyone tell me how this works, if i get in this year and run what are the chances of getting in again next year? is there a guaranteed entry system or something like they run at the great north run where you can pay some sort of premium to guarantee entry for a couple of years?

The rules of the ballot are a dark art, it's like voodoo. But the answer to your second question is no.
