Eh?! Hope you're not serious Z-boy. I will be a very bad person to follow. I will be mostly blowing kisses to the crowd and high fiving small kids (and trying to hoover up all the jelly babies)! Not a good pacer! G

Sorry, hope that didn't sound unfriendly! Be great to meet you, be happy to chat, super to run together for a bit. But for pacing, you want someone going steady pace, from the outset and finishing with confidence.

Before I drop off the pace and grind to a halt you mean! Yes, running together for a bit would be fab. I got to run with my club mate last time in 2013 for first 3 miles. That was brill. And chatted to a few good folk along the way. Met Bazo on course. And Union, another Fetchie I knew and a girl who is now my club mate 5 years later etc. It's amazing, among 40,000 runners how you can "bump" into people.
And in 2010 running as a guide Blind Ken (with Union as the main other guide actually) we bumped into club mates and other friends we knew too. Amazing. G
