I might have a rest day tomorrow since the event doesn't start until Monday, and I have to work at lunchtime. The weather does look bad for us here unfortunately.

I signed up for the marathon as I would likely do that distance over the week anyway, it was free and I get a chance at the prize draws! I don’t think I’ll bother with buying a medal though.

I paid for a T-shirt and medal as it will be the only one hanging in my collection for 2020

I entered the 100km with the intention of walking 8-10 miles each day but with the blister I got yesterday I'm now doubtful that I'll get it done in a week. Nothing lost though as it's a free "race".

I might have been tempted by the T-shirt if it was a nice bright colour, but wearing black isn’t a great idea running on country lanes. I already have 3 black race tees not getting as much use as I would like.

I see from Facebook that some people are having problems with the Running Heroes site not counting walks towards the challenge. If you are going to do a walk it looks like you’ll need to set your watch to record it as a run.
