What a shame - she was in my year at my school (and I never met her to my knowledge) She was definitely not old

BGS macca? Were different genders even allowed to mix there?!?! (I was a St Gabs, over the fence, but several years after VW).

yep BGS - all our woodwork/metalwork was done on the other side of the road as well as tennis until they built the sports hall on the "boys" side of the road.
I had a lot of friends at St Gabs (which saved me from the ritual abuse when going past to get to the sports fields)

Little Nemo - this kitten can
My favourite sketch of hers was the girl who was going to swim the channel. Funny but with a hint of sadness.
RIP

Very sad news, the ballad of Freda and Barry / beat me on the bottom with a woman's weekly has me in stitches every time.

Such sad news. I would have loved to have had her as a friend - she seemed very warm-hearted but sharp-minded too. RIP Victoria.

Another very sad day. I loved her work- especially when you think every word, spoken by every person in her shows was written by her alone.
I was fortunate enough to see her perform live twice- I went with Dad in 1996 to the Albert Hall and with WW to Nottingham in September 2001 when I was over 30 wks pregnant with LMG.
