My WAVA division is one higher (13) than my time division.
My WAVAs are very low at the moment due to some problems but if I can get back to my previous WAVA level I would get into division 6 or 7! That is quite a difference to my time division. There's an incentive.

I am strangely in the same Division as Fetch, for each of the UTMOST variants. (Though in the time one he is higher, in the WAVA, I am higher.)

I say strangely because that's a nice coincidence. :-)

Oooh 😀 Liking my WAVA division. I've started dropping down the times divisions as the people who reset work their way up.

Fetch - in case it helps you diagnosing the marathon WAVA issue. My marathon time is from a manually entered race result, not a GPS time. (because it was Beachy Head marathon which is a bit short).

It looks like the WAVA tables are not picking up marathons from race times yet - I'll sort that soon.

Right, that should be fixed now. I've also re-run the division allocation, on the basis that it was missing some race data previously. So you might have gone up or down :-)

It is interesting though, I am consistnt WAVA up to Half-marathon (about 68), but in div 8 that scores me poorly up to 10k, but highly (relatively!) on the half and a 10mile.

Are Fetchies more sprinters than long distance runners?

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Start in the bottom division, and compete over seven different distances against your rivals for weekly promotion!

How It Works
1) The game takes your best times from training and racing over the last 12 months.

2) If you've got the fastest 5k in your division, you get 20 points. If you're second fastest, you get 19 points, etc.

3) Your FIVE best scores are used to calculate your total. So if your scores at each distance are 20,20,20,20,20,10,5 the lowest two are discarded, and your total points would be 100.

4) Promotion and relegation happen every Monday at midday.
