IT doesn't take any guts to tell someone to sod off over the internet.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s campaign manager, has insisted that they “let Trump be Trump” I heard him calling out Beyonce and Jay Z for swearing. This is a guy whose counts a former great friend as Russell Simmons of Def Jam.

And it said "sod off and read the article" -> aka "go and read the article" but in less polite form. It didn't mean sod off per se. Language means a lot to me.

"What do YOU think the reason for people liking Trump's "ooh grab her pussy" talk is but saying they don't actually agree with him or believing he meant it???? "
I don't know that anyone liked the comment - well, I can imagine some did. I reckon people were prepared to overlook it. Clinton's camp got the timing of that release wrong. It was too early and the shitstorm had subsided when the vote came.
"C'mon on then, I'm all ears."
Without a photo I can't comment.

I haven't read the article. Is it in the Grauniad? I looked at some of the hysterical nonsense on their site this morning. That was enough.

I can't figure out how Trump is classed 'progressive' yet his behaviour and attitude is more akin to Jim Davidson in the seventies.
Instead of progression it seems more like regression.

- Ok my follow up question is - would you agree this kind of talk would be enough to have ended almost any other candidate in previous campaigns? .... why do you think they are willing to overlook it for Trump?
Perhaps I phrased it badly, but I seriously think it's his "saying the unsayable" and people get a kick or amusement out of it, and more they get a kick out of the fact it riles up the most politically correct and uptight on the other side.

Eggers runs his own magazine, I think the Guardian just commissioned that article. It is sympathetic portrait of trump voters, it is the protesters come across in it as narrow minded and bitchy.
