Trump may have to learn the hard way, that his victory was over both the Democrats AND the Republicans (it was anti-establishment) but when it comes to the houses, they will both start blocking his "initiatives". There's no doubt that Farage sees himself as the UK Trump, and is trying to inveigle himself into the Westminster set up. I hope May has the balls to tell him to f*ck right off, which is what Cameron should have done. Pye makes some good points in an amusing ranty way but rather makes the assertion that's its wrong to call people out on their behaviour irrespective of their political standpoint. Just because racial abuse in the street has always been around, and whilst its true that folks may be more sensitive to it now doesn't in any measure make it OK to tolerate it, and no decent person should... |

Yep - I agree Fellrunning, it should be tackled, it's just the way in which it is being tackled. And if it isn't tackled then you get people elected to vice president who think 100% cloud cuckoo like things like keeping abortion legal will just lead to women getting themselves raped to get time of work... twitter.com |
