I added a few by the ‘copy to a new date’ button, but then added a new one and it unlocked 4 badges all in one go. It seems to be taking into account some events I’ve already listed as the largest badge was for 25 and I’ve only put 4 on since Fetch blogged about it.

Same her, copied a few and received nothing. Entered one manually this morning and now I am an "Events Legend" :-)

Copying doesn't trigger the badge checker, but it still records you as the person who added that event. So when you do add a brand new one, it counts them all.

Hum, I added one yesterday but just got the 1 badge, I guess the retrospective counting wasn't working. I am sure I've entered loads!

It's races since September 1st, to encourage people to add them now, rather than encouraging people to have added them in the past ;-)

I've just updated it so that copying an old event to a new date will now trigger the badge checker.
