However, it will not provide Running Stones." Hope my question makes sense to someone😃

I suspect the next planned move was to refuse entries if your index was too low. Creating a two tiered qualification process i.e get an index high enough to qualify for a UTMB qualifier and then qualify for UTMB by finishing that race. However, given that those races are currently struggling to get full entry fields I suspect that plan might be on hold....
