Retired as I am I apologise for crashing in but I did a 6hour pairs event on Sunday that had a solo option so may appeal to some of you camper /glampers next year.

Apologies as I do feel a fraud popping in.

I didn’t even finish my last race so not sure I belong here either

I’m not sure I like the sound of pairs racing. Going full beans and then sitting around then having to go again sounds rough. I would rather be out jogging on my own for the 6 hours

I might feel I belong here if I make it round the NDW50 next year.

My first 50 miler was the NDW50. A proper test but achievable.

I trust so. I've done three races between 50 and 58k this year, the easiest in 6:30ish, the hardest took me nearly 11 hours. Need to be a bit quicker than that 😁

Don’t go off to quickly. The 20ish miles are relatively easy. The race starts at box hill followed by Colley Hill. Last few miles *might* be longer than advertised

Key ultra tradition there! (The 58k is officially 55, but even the check point list tells you it's longer).

I'm planning to do some long runs along the route to see what I'm in for.
