Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Anyone tracking the UTMR? Damian Hall has a good lead, maybe 12 minutes over Patrick Bohard. A clubmate of mine is doing this and is doing well, currently in 6th place :-)

I've never heard of this Damian Hall before. He must not do much on social media ;).

Ros - I saw that too. Don't know what's going on there, he seems to have been the only one!

Looks like most of the 4-stage participants are following the same route as Bohard but at least one has gone the same route as the rest of the 170kers. Odd.

Looks like the route most have taken is on dirt roads, a lot easier than the track they should have taken.

From FB:

stopped (and seemingly abandoned) at the Gressoney La Trinite checkpoint (81km into the 170km race) due to incoming bad weather.

Oh, I thought you meant they'd been held - but abandoned, not the race abandoned!

(Twitter -The @ultraMonteRosa has been abandoned at the Gressoney La Trinte checkpoint (81km into the 170km race) due to incoming bad weather. @Ultra_Damo (photographed by @natsmountain at the checkpoint) was first there in 11hrs 29mins.)

I wonder if it was re-routed due to weather and not everyone got the message?
