Ah. You mean a "fell tan" :-)

All this talk of ultra marathons has made me wonder if I'm really past it and I've been covetously eyeing up the 2020 Marathon du Mont Blanc this afternoon, it transpires that I've still got an ITRA rating .....

MdMB does look good. I've just been watching the TV coverage* of the Zegama marathon and thinking I'd love a go at it, and then they previewed the next race in the Golden Trail series: MB. It looked even better!

* I say coverage, it was really a ( I assume Salomon-funded) magazine show that showed the odd bit of the race. Kilian was a machine, and Vic Wilkinson got a 10 second interview.
