Andy Cole has completed LL100 three times I think? But failed UTMB this year. UTMB is one tough motherfudger!!!

Bint, my two DNFs at L100 is proof of my lack of UTMB suitability. But I hope to put the L100 DNFs right in 2017!! *fingers crossed*

I'm not sure that UTLD & UTMB are directly comparable. I've heard many people who have. done both say different things depending on their different strengths.

I've had the points for every year for, well, quite a few now, but have never been tempted to enter. Maybe one day, but it's far from the top of my list.

Hi, I've lurked on the thread for a while but thought I'd say hello now I've entered my first 2 (official) ultras (Pembrokeshire coastal trails marathon last year was 27.8 miles but I'm not happy counting it as an ultra despite what some friends say!)

I'm signed up for the Vale Coastal Ultra (32 miles, Vale of Glamorgan, 1st April) and the Limestone Way Ultra (43 miles, Peak District, October). Anyone on this thread done them before or doing either this year?
