Afternoon!

What: 20 minutes along a canal towpath, trying to loosen creaks, which hopefully I did to an extent

Why: ran somewhere different as I had been to visit a friend who had a stroke whilst on holiday in Tenerife in mid February, and then had a pacemaker fitted. Returned home about a week ago. He seemed remarkably well considering. Was heavily involved in athletics: medical director of the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, GB team doc...and RW "agony aunt" on all things medical. I was a little relieved when I saw how well he was...but perhaps not as relieved as he is! All of a bit of a shock.
