So ended up swapping duties with Peter at parkrun, having been well dressed stripped off to capris and top plus waterproof, result freezing brisk walk in 49 odd min. Then off to meet some others for what ended up a 5m run, warmed me up anyhow, got soaked taking all my stuff back home just now. Probably an indoor/knitting afternoon!

Your parkrun almost sounds nastier than my 15k today @PeterFay . Got the right Peter this time.

Good work on the 2025 PB @Derby Tup .

Music is good @RFJ . I can put my tablet on the bike so often read as well. Stops me watching the miles go by too much.

Race went well enough. 1:13:17 chip. Didn't feel too cold which was good and the headwind has been worse in the past. A PW for the course I believe but a decent hard effort which is what I was looking for

I'm still deploying. Tried a 14k progression run today (4 laps of 3.5k) which went OK. Hamstrings twitched on the last lap so I cut it short and did a longer cool down instead. Onwards and upwards.
