Too Much Water
Looks like we will be moving early next year from a house in Reading to an apartment in Canada Water or similar to reduce the 2 hr each way commute my wife does each day to the City. Not feeling too positive based on some of the issues folk here experiencing.

Probably going to put our place on the market in early 2018.

I think the best way to do it is to sell and move into rented, then look for a new place. I was prepared to do that but thankfully found a great place to buy at the same time. But it did add stress, thinking I could lose it if anything else happened to the chain.

I called into the estate agent yesterday and he said now is a bad time to put a house on the market, especially with the recent interest rate change, many people are just waiting to see what happens.

I was prepared to do that and I have moved! Then the fucking buyer pulled out. Then I read what Meglet states above. I really have the shittest luck.

It's been a v lonely time too. No-one to go home to and have a hug with while buyer dragging heels and everything fucking up. My friend called me last night and wanted to come over. She said she is really worried about me. I'm worried about me. If my holiday in December doesn't come quickly, I'm going to become ill from the stress of all that's happened to me in the last 2 years. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I must have been really evil in a former life.

I will now end up project managing the flat in December and not be able to take some much-needed time out. I'm probably going to take out a loan to completely do it out and replace heating, shower etc and apply to extend lease.

Really am sorry to read of such many difficulties moving house. We had an absolute nightmare moving last year, it went on for over a year & was hellish stressful. It did get sorted in the end, so often it felt like it was never going to be completed. I wrote some incredibly sweary blogs on here, which were very therapeutic.

Hi Captain. I will have a look at your sweary blogs. I was swearing all over the place at the weekend. I was furious and wanted to find a hill and scream the C word about the little shit that pulled out.

I'm still v sweary but also feeling on the verge of tears. I need to watch some sad films and get emotion out.

I've got to steel myself for going to see my parents at the weekend. It will be nice to see my mum but my dad is a harsh character who loves to see me struggle. He will be rubbing his hands.

RS, I found a good swear really helped. We both had tears & tantrums, there were furious rows. Always felt better once we let it go. Your dad sounds 3xactly like what you don’t need right now, good luck with him. The sweary blogs start around Feb 2016.

I would consider selling and then moving into rented, but not sure with London rents if that would be affordable. I would also need to change jobs and find somewhere to work in London so that might be an option. It might be a good option if there’s some price depression in London with Brexit etc

Well we're in, moved yesterday, it was a very long day and I've been at work today. Been trying to sort the kitchen. The removal men packed, and did so very well, I've got so much packing paper to get rid of! It's going to take a while to get sorted.
