Boo to side effects, AC. Hopefully the sawbones can figure something better out for you.
Weather is still continentally fabulous here, btw.

I forgot to report in - I ran a mile race on Friday and was poor (why is it so hard to run a mile??) and did parkrun yesterday. Not quite as poor (though still very much at that end of the spectrum) but scored a 1st place in my AG. As it was my last parkrun for that age category it was good to go out on a 'win'.

Miles are horrible things. I did a Fetch mile back in c2007/8 ish. It still ranks as one the most painful things ever even after 12hr TTs, Ironmans, marathons.
Basically horrible paced 5 mins 32 seconds slower f utter agony. I’ve not done one since…..

GWS folks, good work Linds, Daisy. Bigish weekend done, R/W, swim and bike of decent distance. Bit tired.

GWS to the Plague-ridden amongst us. Take care of yourselves and don't breath on anyone.
I agree with TRO about mile races. Running a mile is easy. Running a mile as fast as you physically can is a ridiculous and stupid thing to do to yourself. I loved mile races back when my achilles was allowing me to run fast! They take a lot of recovering from.

First senior game of Rugby successfully officiated...
F me, boys love the sound of their own voices! I only had to give them one time out to have a drink and calm down because both sides were pissing me off, so over all I'm calling it a success.

You have my eternal admiration, Rae. Blokes doing sport are a bunch of arses (mostly) and trying to make them behave must be like trying to herd cats!
