70 hours. We walk slowly when there are geocaches and photography opportunities... Holidays had 1 Bicycles purchased 1
A funny month. Inconsistent. Fed up with rain. Swims small and chilly, went on holiday to a beach too shallow to swim at. Took running kit but did walks with GC and Dog rather than running. Actually rested. Broke bike (gears) on very wet sportive early in the month, couldn't sort with YouTube how tos couldn't get a service booked til today. Pootled about on the mountain bike and then went bike shopping. Old bike now to be fixed up cheaply for turboting.

Clip in
Be patient, settle on your effort, it should feel very in control for large parts of the event

As Gobi says
Also, the shorter the event the longer the warm up.
Be smooth and efficient, TT is about sustained pace not sharp accelerations.
And of course, enjoy.
